Cancel appointments by calling:
660-687-2188 or 1-800-334-2958

Missed appointments compromise our ability to provide quality care and hinder our ability to meet TRICARE access standards. Please cancel appointments that cannot be kept. This should be done as far in advance as possible. Early cancellations give other patients the opportunity to use available appointments.

All active duty newcomers should transfer their Tricare Prime enrollment to Whiteman AFB at least 48 hours before their assigned Medical Right Start class by calling 1-877-838-7532 between the hours of 1000-1800 Central Time Monday - Friday.  Your unit name, PRP status, and 1042 holder status will be needed to complete the call.  If not already done, DEERS information (i.e. address and phone number) can be updated during the call.  Doing this ahead of time will shorten the Tricare briefing time.  Family members can be transferred/enrolled at the same time, if they are physically here in the area.  If family members need to call at a later date, they should call 1-877-988-9378.

Dial 911 for Emergency

As a rule of thumb, a true emergency is a threat to life, limb and eyesight or threatening condition requiring immediate medical treatment.  If you think you fit this category, DON'T TAKE ANY CHANCES, go to the nearest facility equipped to handle your situation, such as a hospital emergency room, or call 911.  Emergency care does not require a pre-authorization, although you must call your PCM within 24 hours of receiving care @ 1-660-687-2188 or as soon as your medical condition permits.

To reach the 509th Medical Group on-call doctor or dentist, call 660-687-2188 or 1-800-334-2985 and select option 1.
