Christian Carver, 509th Security Forces Squadron noncommissioned officer in charge LeMay search, was awarded the Air Medal for Meritorious Achievement at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., May 24, 2024. While participating in aerial flight during Operation ALLIES REFUGE in Kabul, Afghanistan, Carver demonstrated bravery and tenacity while exposed to hostile enemy actions during the largest noncombatant evacuation in Air Force history.
