Knob Noster High School JROTC Instructor named AFA Teacher of the Year
                U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Joshua Braswell, 509th Security Forces Squadron flight chief and local Air Force Association Chapter President, presents the annual Teacher of the Year Award to retired U.S. Air Force Col. Mark Talley, Senior Aerospace Science Instructor for Air Force Junior ROTC, at Knob Noster High School in Knob Noster, Misssouri, May 27, 2021. Talley was recognized for his education efforts in STEM disciplines, notably adding computer-based simulator curriculum to the program to foster hands-on training in aerodynamics concepts, developing a partnership with the Civil Air Patrol to provide small aircraft orientation flights to students, and establishing dual credit opportunities with Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
