Fueling the future: Innovative plans to improve Whiteman AFB
An R-11 fuels truck sits at a fuels truck fill stand at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, Jan. 12, 2021. The Fiscal Year 2024 Defense Logistics Agency Military Construction project will enable R-11 fuels trucks to refuel closer to the Petroleum, Oil and Lubricants compound and will enable them to fill other T-38 Talon and A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft without traversing through the restricted area to fill their tanks.
