EOD NCOs innovate, adopts proven product for new use
U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgts. Kenneth Dunn, Thomas Gilbert, 509th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal technicians, stand for a photo next to the installed wheelchair lift July 14, 2020, at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. The EOD flight used squadron innovation funds to purchase the lift. The new lift saves time and man power by reducing the number of people needed to retrieve the Counter Improvised Explosive Device robot. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Dylan Nuckolls)
