Team Whiteman Participates in the Murph Challenge 2020
Team Whiteman Airmen participate in the Memorial Day Murph Challenge at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, May 25, 2020. The Murph Challenge is held annually in memory of U.S. Navy Lt. Michael P. Murphy, a U.S. Navy SEAL officer. Murphy was awarded the U.S. military's highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, for his actions during the War in Afghanistan. The Murph Challenge includes a 1-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and a second 1-mile run, while wearing a 20-pound armored vest. (U.S. Air Force photo by 1st Lt. Michael Hardy)
