Whiteman Air Force Base Airmen sew and donate masks across the country to slow the spread of COVID-19
U.S. Air Force Capts. Lauren Kram and Ben Kram, pilots assigned to the 393rd Bomb Squadron, sew face masks on May 13, 2020, at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. Lauren and Ben Kram created and donated over 500 masks nationwide to military bases, hospitals, and nursing homes to help minimize the spread of COVID-19. Department of Defense policy states that all individuals on DoD property, installations, and facilities will wear cloth face coverings when they cannot maintain six feet of social distance.
