’We’re a team’: First husband-wife pilots to fly the B-2 retire from the Air Force

U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Jennifer Avery receives her retirement pin from her daughter Elizabeth during a retirement ceremony Sept. 7, 2018, at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. Avery was the first female to the fly the B-2 Spirit. She is the first and only female to fly stealth bomber in combat, and was also the first female to fly the B-1 in combat.
