Mentoring and maintaining dorm life

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Nikolas Westland, an Airman Dorm Leader (ADL) assigned to the 509th Civil Engineer Squadron, mentors Airman 1st Class Lester Mendez, an avionics back shop apprentice assigned to the 509th Maintenance Squadron, at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., Aug. 18, 2017. An ADL’s main focus is the wellbeing of the Airmen living in the dormitories, which they enhance by maintaining the facilities and helping them with any issues they are facing.
