AFREP regenerates through innovation

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. James Lott, an Air Force Repair Enhancement Program (AFREP) circuit card technician assigned to the 509th Maintenance Group, views a microscope display screen while soldering a circuit card at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., Nov. 17, 2016. Since Jan. 1, 2016, the AFREP has saved the 509th Bomb Wing about $210,800 in new equipment purchases by repairing salvageable equipment.
