Becky Imhauser, a Missouri History Speaker’s bureau member, gives a historical presentation about life in Sedalia during the days leading up to World War II and shortly following the death of Sedalia native 2nd Lt. George Whiteman at the Whiteman Corridor in Sedalia, Mo., May 21, 2016. The corridor contains a statue of a B-2 Spirit pointing toward Whiteman Air Force Base (WAFB) and a statue of a P-40 Warhawk pointing toward the former home of Lt. Whiteman, the namesake of WAFB.
