Fire Prevention Parade
Base residents line the sidewalks to witness the annual Fire Prevention Parade Oct. 10, 2015, at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo. Fire trucks from Whiteman and the local communities drove around base with Smokey the bear, Sparky the dog and J.B. the fireman and greeted residents with handfuls of candy. Following the parade, the Whiteman Fire Department hosted activities in the commissary parking lot which carried a theme of teaching how to prevent and respond to fires in the home.
