Whiteman recognizes National Fire Prevention Week
U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Paul Tibbets IV, 509th Bomb Wing commander, signs the Fire Prevention Week Proclamation Sept. 22, 2015, at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo. National Fire Prevention Week runs from Oct. 4 to Oct. 10, 2015, and teaches how to correct the public safety concerns present in many homes today. Members of Team Whiteman are encouraged to install smoke alarms in every bedroom, outside each sleeping area and on every level of the home, including the basement.
