Grand opening, batter up

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. – Col. John Robinson, 509th Bomb Wing vice commander, steps up to the plate at the batting cages grand opening Aug. 27. The batting cages are open from sun rise to sun down and are free of charge until January. The batting cages cost $145,000 and were largely paid for by recycling.
