Whiteman Airmen hit milestone while deployed

MANAS AIR BASE, KRYGYZ REPUBLIC -- Airman 1st Class John Broome, a fuels distribution operator with the 376th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron's Petroleum, Oil and Lubricants Flight, is congratulated by Col. Christopher Bence, 376th Air Expeditionary Wing commander, as he reaches a unique deployment milestone, Sept. 1; two million gallons of fuel pumped. Airman Broome, who is deployed from Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., is one of only four Airmen at the wing to reach the impressive feat during a four month deployment.
