National Fire Prevention Week

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo- The Whiteman Fire Department will have a parade traveling the route indicted on the map starting at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 5. Other events for fire prevention week include a display at the Base Exchange from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 7, a display at the Commissary from 11a.m. to 2p.m. Oct. 8, fire extinguisher training at the Youth Center starting at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 9 and a display with Sparky and Smokey at the Base Exchange from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 11.
