WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. – Airman 1st Class Drew Hammes, 509th Maintenance Group, exercises on one of 15 new work-out machines Oct. 18. The new machines cost more than $60,000 and are expected to be in use at the fitness center for five years. Along with the new work-out machines, the fitness center recently added six new elliptical machines and is expected to add more work-out equipment to their inventory shortly as well as adding 53 fitness classes this month.
