Never complacent
Staff Sgt. Gregory Mobley presents a small explosive charge in a life vest to Military Working Dog Charlie at Kirkuk Regional Air Base, Iraq, Oct. 21. Charlie alerted to the package when it was on the taxiway because of the charge. Sergeant Mobley and Charlie are both from the 506th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron K-9 section. Sergeant Mobley is deployed from Langley Air Force Base, Va., and calls Decatur, Ga., home. Charlie is an eight-year old German Sheppard on his 15th deployment to the Area of Responsibility.
