After Hours, Team Whiteman members burn the midnight oil
WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo – An AH-64 Apache taxis into place Nov. 6. The Army National Guard's 1/135th Aviation Battalion flies the Apache around the clock to ensure they can conduct rear, close and shaping missions including deep precision strike as well as distributed operations, precision strikes against relocatable targets, and provides armed reconnaissance when required in day, night, obscured battlefield and adverse weather conditions.
