Day on the greens

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. - Dale “Doc” Chapman, from Cole Camp, Mo., sends his second shot on hole 16 onto the green April 19 during the Whiteman Base Community Council Annual Golf tournament at Royal Oaks Golf Course. Fourteen teams from the surrounding communities paired up with a military member in a three-flight scramble. The Clinton Cardinals won the A Flight with a 59; Siegers Subs won the B Flight with a 67; and ENL Bank from Lexington won the C Flight with a 70.
