Team spirit

ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- A B-2 Spirit stealth bomber is unhooked from aerospace ground equipment by a maintenance team supporting the remaining B-2 Spirits at Andersen AFB. The equipment provides the jet’s power supply while the team performs weekly checks to ensure the B-2 Spirit bomber stays at a mission-ready status. This requires lots of hard work and a huge team effort by all maintainers working on the multi-role stealth bomber. The B-2s here have remained suspended pending the results from a safety investigation board following the first-ever crash of a stealth bomber Feb. 23 here, at Andersen AFB. The Maintainers are from the 36th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and are deployed from the 509th Bomb Wing, Whiteman, AFB, Mo. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Vanessa Valentine)
