Keeping up the Show-Me State
WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo – Senior Airmen Michelle Salyer and Bailey Lammers, 509th Operations Support Squadron clean Missouri Highway 50 in participation with the Adopt -A -Highway program March 3. The purpose of the Adopt-A-Highway program is to provide community support for litter prevention and highway beautification efforts. Missouri Department of Transportation started the Adopt-A-Highway program in the fall of 1987.
