Whiteman FCC Provider of the Year
WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. -- Melissa Eddy, right holding Alice Warner, receives the Family Child Care Provide of the Year award April 21 from Maj. Kevin Naman, 509th Services Squadron commander. Licensed FCC is the care provided in base housing for one or more children of another person for more than 10 hours per week on a regular basis. The FCC staff ensures the quality of child care in base housing meets Air Force standards.Training is provided in child growth and development, protecting the health and safety of children, and child abuse prevention and reporting.
