Bronze Star for 509th CES Commander

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. – Brig. Gen. Garrett Harencak, 509th Bomb Wing commander presents Maj. Bryan Opperman, 509th Civil Engineer Squadron commander, with a Bronze Star here March 12. Major Opperman’s accomplishments include overseeing an Iraqi Army Engineering training program which teamed U.S. craftsmen and Iraqi trainees to teach them plumbing and electrical skills essential for Iraqi base maintenance.
