Pitch, Hit and Run
WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo., -- Caleb Rincker, son of Tech. Sgt. and Mrs. Rincker, 509th Logistics Readiness Squadron; and Tyler Hughes, son of Senior Master Sgt. and Mrs. Hughes, 509th LRS, are the winners of the local and sectional Pitch, Hit and Run competition held May 13 and 17. By being the winners of the sectional competition, both Caleb and Tyler will be competing in the Team Championship to be held June 21, in Kauffman Stadium. If they win the Team Championship, they will be going to New York to the All-Star game and compete in the National Finals of the Pit, Hit and Run competition. Team Whiteman members are encouraged to support these two young men as they compete Kauffman Stadium Saturday.
