Reflections of Independence

OKLAHOMA CITY – While celebrating more than 230 years of independence, many Americans also paid tribute to those who fell in terrorist acts throughout the years, such as the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995 where more than 170 people were killed. The Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum stands as a memorial to those lives lost and as a reminder of the high price of independence. (U.S. Air Force photos/Master Sgt. Stan Coleman)
