Getting a face lift
WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. - Airman 1st Class Justin Pike, 509th Maintenance Squadron, uses a sander to remove old protective coating and paint on a KC-97 static display Aug. 20. Once removed members from the 509th Maintenance and Munitions squadrons will restore the protective coating, paint and perform any required sheet metal repair to the KC97 static display.
