KC97 Restoration

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. -- Members of the 509th Maintenance Squadron, use sanders to remove the old protective coating and paint on the vertical stabilizer of a KC 97 static display Aug. 25. Once removed members from the 509th Maintenance and Munitions Squadron will restore the protective coating, paint and perform any required sheet metal repair to the KC97 static display.
