509th EOD responds to suspicous package in Warrensburg
The 509th Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit uses a robot to perform an initial evaluation of a suspicious package June 7. The package was discovered that morning in the parking lot of Community Behavioral Healthcare in Warrensburg with a note attached stating “to you from God.” Once an initial evaluation is completed, EOD then determines if the package must be disposed of on site or if further evaluation is possible. The package was later found to be empty. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Jason Barebo)
