Judging a "bark" by its cover

“Charlie”, owned by Robyn Bunting, won the “Biggest Dog” and the “Biscuit Race” awards at the 6th Annual Bark in the Park June 16. The Whiteman Community Activities Center and veterinarian clinic joined forces to sponsor the afternoon of fun for Whiteman families and their dogs. Representatives from “Greyhound Rescue” and Staff Sgt. Tom Corona, 509th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, educated the crowd about greyhound adoptions. Fifty-five canines and more than 100 people took part in the event. Judges for the event were Mary Jungnitsch, 509th Services Squadron, Chief Master Sgt. Michael Faulkingham, 509th Medical Group and Tech Sgt. Merl Tilley, 509th Security Forces Squadron. (Photo by Connie Koch, printed with permission)
