POW/MIA Run
WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. - The prisoners of war and missing-in-action flag flies as personnel with the 509th Communications Squadron complete their leg of the POW/MIA run, Sept. 18. The POW/MIA run is a 24-hour torch and flag run to honor prisoners of war and missing-in-action personnel. Staff Sgts. Amir Hasan and Brandon Lines, 509th Munitions Squadron, organized the 24-hour run and scheduled it to kick off at 6 a.m. the morning of the Air Forces 62nd anniversary.
