A Long Way Down!

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. -The rescue slide deployed from the Air Traffic Control Tower at Whiteman Air Force Base, Sept. 22. The slide at full length extends to 133 feet, and can be deployed at around a minute. This was part of an annual training for the tower personnel.( U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Carlin Leslie)
