Lock and load

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. -- Staff Sgts. Ben Simmons (left), and Brad Dugan (right), 509th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, present Lt. Col. Jeffrey Johnson, 509th Medical Operations Squadron commander, with a paintball jersey July 7 at the “Doc Pappy J” Hooah Lock-and-Load Paintball Tournament at Area 509. The jersey is made in the same style and color as the Northrop-Grumman team, which won the tournament, with “Doc Pappy J” and the number 509 on the back. The 7-man team tournament was held in honor of Colonel Johnson’s involvement and contributions to bringing a paintball field, Area 509, to Whiteman. Colonel Johnson will move on to the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. His last day at Whiteman is July 23. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Jason Barebo)
