Youth center opens doors
WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. – Members of Team Whiteman cut the ribbon at the grand opening of the youth center Aug. 24. The $3.9 million youth center consists of a teen center for ages 13-18, three school-age classrooms for before and after school care, a gymnasium, a multi-purpose room, an art room, a music room, a computer room, a game room, a television lounge and instructional classroom.
