Mission Complete: NORI Out-brief Today

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. – Whiteman Airmen are inspected on their job-specific areas during the base Nuclear Operational Readiness Inspection Oct. 20. The NORI is a higher-headquarters inspection of the 509th Bomb Wing's capability to conduct nuclear operations. The results of the NORI will be released at an out-brief, scheduled for later today. "I'm extremely proud of the 509th's performance during the NORI," said Brig. Gen. Robert Wheeler, 509th BW commander. "This team performed magnificently and proved that we are ready for combat across the full spectrum of conflict. Our focus now must turn to supporting our TFI brethren in the 442nd, who will begin their ORI today!" Next week's Warrior will include more details on the out-brief and the performance of the 509th.
