Making a family coat of arms
Youth attending Whiteman's Before and After School-Age Program are learning about medieval times and are currently researching the origin of their names. The youth are making a coat of arms for display during the school-age performance of “Merlin & The Magic Sword” Oct. 18. Working on their coat of arms are (left to right) Emma Atherton, daughter of Tech. Sgt. Neil Atherton, 509th Maintenance Squadron, Ethan Smith, son of Staff Sgt. Christopher Smith, 394th Combat Training Squadron, and Alexa Stewart, daughter of Staff Sgt. Jennifer Stewart, 509th Munitions Squadron. (Photo printed with permission of Donna Barker)
