Ribbon cutting takes place

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. -- Col. Garrett Harencak, 509th Bomb Wing commander, cuts a ribbon with help from 1st Lt. Heidi Grandin, 509th Medical Operations Squadron, during a ribbon cutting ceremony for Bioenvironmental Engineering Oct. 24. Bioenvironmental Engineering is responsible for performing full spectrum health risk assessments including the areas of industrial hygiene, environmental surveillance, radiological monitoring of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear detection and quantification.
