'Crash' course in seatbelt use
WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. - A Missouri State Highway Patrolman prepares to send Senior Airman Jeremy Watts, 509th Security Forces Squadron, down the MSHP's seatbelt convincer May 21. The seatbelt convincer uses gravity to accelerate users to 5 mph before suddenly stopping simulating a crash. The only thing keeping users from hitting the wall face-first is a seat belt.
