EOD opens up
WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. -- Senior Airman Joshua Miller practices using the laptop controller Oct. 7. The controller allows personnel to manipulate a tactical robot from a safe distance. The 509th Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordnance disposal flight opened their shop to show Lt. Col. Boswell that EOD Airmen are mission capable. Colonel Boswell is the 509th CES commander and Airman Miller is an EOD technician assigned to the 509th CES EOD flight. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Laura Goodgame)
