Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.--Staff Sgt. Sergio Meneses reviews his students, Staff Sgt. Jarrod Phelan (Left) and Senior Airman Jacob Blumbrich (Right) as they set up for a close-air-support mission at Cannon Range as a final test of their upgrade training as joint terminal air controllers Oct. 13. The 30-day upgrade course consist of field excises with the Airmen coordinating close air request , and controls close-air-support giving pilots in the air a better visual of the target which provides life saving mission support.
