Fort Leonard Wood, Mo--Staff Sgt. Jarrod Phelan identifies ground targets for close-air-support missions at Cannon Range near Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. Oct. 13 during his upgrade training. Sergeant Phelan is a joint terminal attack controller (JTAC) student. As a JTAC, Airmen will direct the action of the combat aircraft engaged in close-air-support and other offensive air operations.
