Eyes on target
Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. --Staff Sgt. Jarrod Phelan uses a laser target designator to mark a target for the laser guided bomb to hit simulated threats at Cannon Range Oct. 13. Sergeant Phelan is a joint terminal attack controller (JTAC) student. As a JTAC, Airmen will direct the action of the combat aircraft engaged in close-air-support and other offensive air operations.
