AH-64D Apache Longbow

The 1-135th Attack Battalion received three, new AH-64D Apache Longbow helicopters here Oct. 19. The new helicopters replaced older and outdated ones. The Apache's mission conducts distributed operations, precision strikes against re-locatable targets, and provides armed reconnaissance when required in day, night, obscured battlefield and adverse weather conditions.
