UCM Veteran's Day Ceremony

WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- Brig. Gen. Scott A. Vander Hamm, 509th Bomb Wing commander, gives the keynote speech during a Veterans Day ceremony at the University of Central Missouri’s multi-purpose center Nov. 11. Veterans Day, formerly known as Armistice Day, is an annual U.S. holiday honoring military Veterans. Its date marks the anniversary of the German signing of the Armistice at the 11th hour of the 11th day in 1918, ending major hostilities of World War I.
