The Whiteman Air Force Base facility of the Document Automation & Production Service will conduct an open house Aug. 30. Customers are invited to stop by from 8 a.m. - noon at 930 Arnold Ave, Ste. 7.

The staff is taking this opportunity to show off local capabilities and providing information ranging from a wide variety of brochures, posters, technical manuals, newsletters/mailout products, CD-ROMs, color and black and white documents produced within the Oklahoma City Office group.

The Oklahoma City Office Group administers facilities in Texas, Okla., N.M., Kan., and Mo.

While at DAPS, take advantage of the DAPS online training available at the open house. This e-business solution enables uploading of digital files, job ordering from your desk and job tracking.

Using this service, you can send jobs to be printed world-wide and avoid costly shipping and true print on-demand capabilities.

The DAPS supervisor will be on hand to discuss electronic document solutions, using the application service provider approach.

DAPS, which uses experience from lessons learned and best of breed ideas, offers scalable web-based EDM solutions appropriate for enterprise implementation or small office groups.

Requirements can range from complex workflow and e-mail capture to simple archiving. DAPS EDM staff are CDIA+ certified and available for needs assessments to ensure you receive a system that fits the command requirements.

DAPS provides document automation products and services to the Department of Defense and designated federal activities, including imaging and conversion of documents to electronic media, digital warehousing and distribution of digital and hardcopy information. It is the single manager for all DoD printing and duplicating.
