Exchange Online Mall Partner Turns Used Electronics into Foldable Green

DALLAS --  Every time a new computer, MP3 player or video game hits retailers' shelves, consumers inevitably pitch older "versions" into "junk drawers," or worse yet trash cans, often never to be thought of again.

Selling old iPods, cell phones, game consoles, BlackBerries, video games, cameras and GPS units through the service is easy, safe and fast. Before any commitment is made, an interactive interface provides an estimated value of the product being offered. Recent offers through the site include $138.60 for a 120 GB Apple iPod classic with "normal wear" and $26.97 for a Canon PowerShot SD880IS Digital Camera with "heavy wear."

Regardless of the amount offered, multiple free shipping options, including a custom, pre-paid USPS shipping label that can be printed locally, are offered once the monetary offer is accepted.

"Payments are made via PayPal or check by mail," said Dromey. "Either way, military personnel, and their Families, receive top dollar for their products when going through the Exchange Online Mall thanks to an agreement with Nextworth that offers Exchange shoppers an extra 10 percent as compared to the vendor's standard service."
