WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. --
The 2019 Wings Over Whiteman Air and Space Show and Open House will take place June 15 and 16, featuring Air Combat Command’s F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team, the A-10C Thunderbolt II demo team and the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team. This free, family friendly event will draw spectators from across the U.S.
Guests will get an up-close look at strategic Air Force assets that our Airmen use to carry out missions across the globe. They will also witness the technical expertise of our military via the U.S. Army Golden Knights, A-10C Thunderbolt II and F-22 Demonstration Teams.
While still in the planning stages, the Wings Over Whiteman schedule will also feature dozens of aircraft static displays, exhibition aircraft, vintage and modern war birds and much more. Along with the aerial demonstrations and static displays, all aircraft that call Whiteman AFB home, to include the B-2 Spirit, T-38 Talon, A-10 Thunderbolt II and Blackhawk helicopter will be available for viewing. As plans progress, additional aerial acts are scheduled to be added.
Admission and parking are free and details will be announced as plans are finalized, including availability for media flights during the event. Please visit https://www.whiteman.af.mil/WOW/ or on Facebook www.facebook.com/WingsOverWhiteman for more information.
