SERE, egress training prepares Whiteman personnel for worse-case situations

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. --
US Air Force Tech. Sgt. Sergio Avalos, a survival, evasion, resist and escape (SERE) specialist, trek through bushes with pilots of Team Whiteman to a designated starting area to conduct the navigation portion of their SERE training Nov.27, 2017 at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. During this portion the pilots are must use given coordinates to locate a meeting point with the SERE instructor.
