FORT DAVIDSON, Mo. --  Missouri's military presence has existed for many years, including Whiteman Air Force base located seventy miles from Kansas City. Four hours southeast of Whiteman, Civil War reenactors celebrated the 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Pilo...t Knob at Fort Davidson Missouri on Sept. 27th and 28th. Airman First Class Emili Koonce traveled out to Fort Davidson to tell the story of how they are helping keep Missouri's rich military history alive.
