WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. --

Team Whiteman celebrated 30 years of B-2 Spirit stealth bomber airpower at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., Dec. 15, 2023. This marked 30 years since the first arrival of the B-2 to Whiteman AFB.

The celebration included a ceremony reenacting the B-2's first arrival to the installation. Additionally, a gala was hosted in Kansas City, Mo., Dec. 16, 2023.

The B-2's revolutionary blending of low-observable technologies with high aerodynamic efficiency and large payload gives the B-2 important advantages over existing bombers.
